Music News
Multi-Platinum recording artist Omarion Grandberry (formerly of B2K) has
signed a worldwide solo recording deal with T.U.G./Epic Records.
Looks like J'Kwon isnt a fan of Omarion after he used the "Tipsy" beat on his "Damn"
single. On mtv.com they interviewed J'Kwon and on the subject a remix for his song he said "I'mma keep it so St.
Louis, that's all I can say,' he hinted of the lineup. "I'mma try to keep it so St. Louis. I got [a few different] versions
done. It's gonna shock people."
One person who might be in for a surprise when he hears the new version of the song
is B2K's estranged lead singer, Omarion. For some reason, J said he took exception to the braided crooner singing over his
beat to "Tipsy" on a freestyle.
"Omarion, you definitely not doing my remix," he said. "I don't mess with you
dudes. The remix is dropping, you gonna be like, 'Man, Kwon got ignorant.' You gonna steal my beat right and get 50 spins
a week on the radio? Then come off, 'One, to the two, to the three ... ?' I got something for you, shorty."
F.Y.I.
For those of you who haven't heard the new Tipsy Remix J'Kwon says "D here comes the C to da B to da A, never fall off
like B2K" J-Boog said that was "disrespectful" because the group had nothing to do with that. Als if you pay attention
Kwon really can't say anything because he stole half of the "Tipsy" beat from Grindin' by the Clipse.
B2K News
J-Boog and Lil'Fizz have decided to do an album togehter. I've heard
that it is going to be a rap album but i'm not completely sure. You can read a little about that and any other news updates
in the S2S article. Link to the article is posted on the homepage. I'm not writin much on here because all of the news i would
be writing about can be found someplace in that article because that's where i got it from. I don't see any point in writing
it all over again. If you don't read the article then i guess you just won't know what's going on with the boys.
Other News
It seems as though J-Boog, Lil' Fizz, and Raz-B's record label Superfam 3 will no
longer happen. Raz-B has formed his own production company called RazBeatz. Very crafty title i think. J-Boog and Lil'Fizz
have also started there own project entitled F.B.I. Which stands for Fizz and Boog Incorporated. I think with the fan base
that the three have as the former and founding members of B2K, both labels should do considerabbly well.
Fizz and Boog have signed the group 4deep as their first artists. J-Boog dropped by
the B2K message board on Friday April 2nd to let the fans know about there new label and their artists. They also have a new
joint screen name, F.B.I. Boog stated that they no longer have access to their old names and aren't "doing their thing" on
the old ones any longer.
Mr. Showbiz reports Robert is talking with Quentin about an appearance in Quentin's planned Ernest Hemingway biopic. Wonder
